Elisabeth lost 18 lbs, Almost 5% Body Fat and
Over 12 Inches!

I’ve learned to fuel my body rather than starve it. I’ve learned to challenge my body rather than just put up with it. And I’ve learned that a quick fix doesn’t last.
12 weeks later, I find myself changed in surprising ways. I figured I’d lose some weight and get stronger. What I didn’t count on was having so much more energy, less stress, and this strange feeling of self-confidence. I have a better understanding of my body, and I have come to an epiphany that I love my body for its possibilities, rather than being consumed by what it looks like. Most of all, I’ve learned to take one day at a time, and enjoy my life to the fullest. I want to be an active player in my girls’ lives! There are plenty of things in my life that I can’t control, but I can chose each and every day to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Terry lost 13 lbs, 2% Body Fat and Over 14 Inches!

Where do I begin with the most unique journey I could have imagined. The first of this year I had topped out at 250lbs, and at 52 yrs of age I knew I was asking for trouble. My daughter (bless her heart) recognized the potential problems that I could be facing.
The 1st workout I did I thought I was going to die, not kidding I was so winded and weak I thought I would never make it 1/2 way. I managed to get through this one but not without so much muscle pain I couldn’t sit down or get back up again. That’s when I thought to myself that I would probably have a Heart attack should I go to another one. Then I realized that I would probably have a heart attack if I didn’t keep going, that was how out of shape I was (notice the word was).
I can’t tell you how much this incredible journey has meant to me. I want to thank all the girls that we work out with and all your encouragement, without it I would have never came back the 2nd time. Special thanks to Deanne who was my hero for hanging in there and letting me know that I can do this, Casey, my dear daughter a million times thank you for saving my life, and Angie, precious Angie I dont know where to start. Thank you for believing in me 1st of all, thank you for showing me that there is a better life, a new life at 52. I love you all so much and owe you a healthier me.

Dawna lost 12 lbs, Over 2% Body Fat and
Over 13 Inches!

Well I must say this has been quite the journey. At the beginning I wasn't sure if I could make any physical changes. I have been dieting and working out on my own with little if any results. The mirror and myself were my greatest enemies. My negative body image was paralysing me.
I can now say the mirror is no longer my enemy , but a reflection of possibilities. Know that I am not done yet. This is a journey. I know there I am headed. I am going to a healthy lifestyle with all the benefits that come with that. I can (almost) keep up with my 2 year old grandson (AKA " the tornado")
The homework was great. I am now in the habit of working out during the day not just at class. Missing my workout can make for a bad day. I have energy again!!!!
